Debra L. Schuchman Pafford, age 66, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 1:55 am on Friday February 23, 2018 at her residence. Born on September 14, 1951 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of Julian J. and Ruby J. (Shearer) Briggs.
Debra attended Chambersburg High School and graduated with the Class of 1970. She enjoyed doing anything outdoors, including gardening, growing flowers, and having cookouts. Dog and cats were also special to her. Debra was best known for being a very strong person and taking excellent care of her family, who meant the world to her.
Survivors include her loving husband David Pafford of Columbia City; sons, Rodney (Danielle) Schuchman of Brownsburg, IN, Rick Schuchman of Sanford, FL, and Nick (Daniell) Schuchman of Columbia City; grandchildren, Patrick, Katlynn, Brayden and Jenna; brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Briggs of Mercersburg, PA and Chris (Darla) Briggs of Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jeannie Briggs.
