"Tony and I were friends for almost 67 years from kindergarten thru high school. We were fishing buddies along the Schykill and Wissahickon and we often walked along the expressway to Flat Rock Dam. He was a great fisherman and perfected the use of a pencil eraser with a weight on it to detect the nibble of a fish. We also joined the Air Force together and were in basic training in Texas together. Then 6 months at McGuire AFB. We shared a room there, he on the top bunk and I was on the bottom. Many good times I can recall. Tony, rest in peace."
