Lowell D. Jones, 62, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa.
He was born September 10, 1955, in Hampton, Iowa, to Donald and Rose (Kots) Jones. Lowell graduated from Dumont Community School in 1973. He farmed with his father on the family farm. Lowell also drove truck for Brown Family Trucking Company and part time for Butch Freeseman. He custom farmed and helped other farmers with their crops. Lowell enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, hunting, his antique tractor, tractor pulls and spending time with his friends and families.
Lowell is survived by his brother Dalton (Jolee) Jones of Montezuma, sister Phylis (Ronald) Krukow of Hampton, four nephews, one niece, aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind seven very special people; Logan, Ellie, Alona, Uriah, Emilie, Skylar and Remington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one niece and one nephew.
Lowell's family has requested NO FLOWERS please.
