Graveside services for Mr. Harold Edward Christensen, age 87, of Alpine, will be conducted 10 a.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Bolestown Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the time of the service.
Harold passed from this life on Thursday evening, March 1, 2018 from Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on August 19, 1930. He worked as a repair man at Chrysler for many years. He was a very social person. He enjoyed painting, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, singing, and playing the guitar.
Harold is survived by his wife, Shirley Christensen of Alpine, TN; sons, David Christensen & wife Gloria of Rockford, IL & Randy Christensen & Tereasa of Rockford, IL; daughters, Debbie Johnson of Columbia, MO and Carolyn Sells & husband Mike of Alpine, TN; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and sister, Sherry Ferguson of KY.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joann.
Pallbearers to serve are David Christensen, Randy Christensen, Ricky Ricketson, Randall Ricketson, Michael Sells, and Jonathan Sells.
