Rose Quinn, formerly of Levittown and Gwynedd Estates in Ambler, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, surrounded by her children. She would have been 92 years old on March 3.

Rose was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Karl and A. Rose (nee Thornton) Panke.

After attending business school, Rose worked as a bookkeeper and secretary in New York City until her marriage to William F. Quinn in 1950. From 1980 until her retirement in 2007, she was the bookkeeper for the family businesses, Third Dimension Printing in Langhorne and 3D Printing in Newtown.

A devout Roman Catholic, Rose was a parishioner at Saint Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen. She was a member of the St. Bonaventure Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order for over 60 years. For many years she was a volunteer for a food pantry in Levittown.

Rose enjoyed gardening and playing games, especially Rummikub and pool. (She had her own cue stick.) She had a great love for her pets.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Patricia Quinn (Timothy Spain) of Glendale, CA, Kathleen Quinn (John Hogan) of Philadelphia, Mary Quinn (Robin Ekstrom) of Putney, VT, William Quinn III (Candace) of Bristol, Matthew Quinn (Barbara) of Norristown, and Theresa Quinn (Henry Proo) of El Centro, CA. Rose will also be fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren, her eleven great grandchildren, her dear sister Mary Lou Matthews (the late James) of Calabash, NC and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Her brothers, William and John Panke, predeceased her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, March 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM., and on Friday March 9, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 1565 Temple Drive, Maple Glen, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Msgr. Robert Panke as Celebrant. Interment will be on Saturday. March 10th at 10:00 AM in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory to the Gwynedd Estates Samaritan Fund, 301 Norristown Road, Ambler, PA 19002 would be appreciated by the family.
