Luann Reitenbaugh wrote on Mar 8, 2018:

"I worked for Pat at Amana 4 Seasons. He was a great boss. I seen him at Southridge, when my mom was there. We talked and laughed about memorial times at 4 Seasons. His kindness and giving mannerism, will be greatly missed, and of course, his great smile. He will always be remembered, never forgotten, and placed in many hearts. "

"My husband and I didn't get to meet Pat until a couple of years ago when he came to church and brought his cute dog with him. But I knew how much he loved God, Christian Science and living in the country. He was always smiling and happy and eager to be with the church membership whenever he was able to drive to Des Moines from Marshalltown. Everyone enjoyed talking to him and seeing his sweet dog. We visited him once when he moved to Southridge Specialty Care and he talked about how much he enjoyed getting together with his friends and playing cards and continued to read Science and Health. He was very grateful when he could talk to someone about his religion. We all missed him when he was no longer able to drive to Des Moines. A sweet man! We are grateful to have gotten to know him even if only a little. Laura and Roger Wichlacz"
