"I am so sorry for your loss. Lowell was an amazing custodian and even more an amazing person! He came to work each day to put all his all into our school! One of my favorite parts of the day was when he popped in to get the garbage. He always had a friendly hello, listened to my stories of the day and had his own stories to share! He loved his family, the farm and especially his grandchildren! You all meant the world to him! Treasure the memories of a wonderful man! He is missed greatly at Roosevelt Elementary. "

Becki Keilen wrote on Mar 4, 2018:

"I could go on for hours with memories of Lowell, just as he would spend hours sharing stories with us, his Roosevelt family. He has been so greatly missed and will always be missed there. His dedication did not go unnoticed. He would fix our pencil sharpeners (when the kids broke them) and even vacuum them out nightly. I once bought a broken table at the district auction, being told it cannot go back into the school. I fixed it and Lowell helped me carry it back into my classroom! He just wanted the best for us teachers! I don't know how many times he fixed my little reading stools. The more I write the more I remember. :) I've been so lucky to get to see him at dance competitions. Kaia, he was one of your biggest fans! Sending lots of love, ((Hugs)) and prayers to you all. I'm so lucky to have known him, he touched my heart and so many lives! ?? Becki Keilen Roosevelt School "
