"When I think of Mr. and Mrs. McQuistion (I still struggle addressing them as John and Dora), I've come to realize it's folks like them that served as great examples of what's important in life.....family, commitment, respect for each other, and of course faith. They lived it and I noticed it as I think back to the times I spent in and around that red house at the corner; including one memorable "sleep over" evening when we watched on TV in the Living Room, Neil Armstrong set foot on the Moon, with of course, Mr. McQuistion present; playing slot cars in the basement; playing with cats "Cindy and Tiger" (I came from a dog family so cats to me were a novelty), and of course, listening over and over again to that song "Good Morning Star Shine, the Earth Says Hello". Carol and Mary, I think I am still sick of that song even now. You must have worn out that 45 record playing it so much. During my time there, I would frequently see Mr. McQuistion who always had a warm hello and made me feel welcome. My condolences for your loss, but also celebrate, at the same time, a noble life lived. "

"To a great man I have known most of my life. John and Dora were the best neighbors and friends with my parents Hank and Harry Burns. His kids were my best friends. He is now at peace and rest. My mon Hank, (me) Cindy and my brother Steve are sending our prayers to John and his family. Now we have another Angel in Heaven looking after us."
