RODNEY YOCOM
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Rodney 'Babe' Yocom, 65, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his home surrounded by family.

There will be a private funeral service at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MCSA or Muscatine Humane Society.

Babe was born in September of 1952, in Muscatine, the son of Roger and Mary Plowman Yocom.

He retired from Babe's Bait and Tackle, which was originally Yocom and Son's DX. Babe enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Babe is survived by his wife, Merrilie Yocom; two daughters, Jodi Hansen and husband, Steve, and Marci Metzger and husband, Jody; two grandchildren, Sofia and Owen; his mother; and one brother, Mike Yocom and wife, Sharon, all of Muscatine.

He was preceded in death by his father.
