Dorothy Crawford

Dorothy F. Crawford, 87, of Rochester, MN died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Riverbend Assisted Living.
Dorothy Francis Neitzel was born August 9, 1930 to Clarence and Ruth (Barker) Neitzel in Owatonna, MN. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1948 and graduated from Saint Marys Nursing School. She married Robert Crawford on September 7, 1957. Robert passed away in 2011. The couple resided throughout the United states due to Robert's military stationing. They mostly lived the in the Twin Cities area. Dorothy worked as a surgical nurse in the Operating Room at a Twin Cities Hospital. The couple spent their retired years in Mora, MN at their family cabin and later moved to Rochester. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, knitting and taking care of her five grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert J. Crawford of Cottage Grove, MN and Julie Mulloy of Rochester, MN; five grandchildren, Jacqueline Mulloy and Justin Mulloy of Rochester, MN and Sonya Crawford, Scott Crawford and Jenna Crawford of Cottage Grove, MN; and one brother, Richard (Arvella) Neitzel of Dodge Center, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Ernest Arbuckle.
There will be a graveside service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:35 a.m.
