Frank N. Lewis, age 78, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 7, 2018 at Crest Haven Care Center in Creston, Iowa. Frank was born March 28, 1939 in Council Bluffs to the late Harry and Doris (Ellis) Lewis. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1957. Frank married Sandra (Erickson) Kogl and to this union daughter, Kelly was born. In 1976, Frank married Peggy Hueser and to this union daughter, Christine was born. Frank had jobs his whole life from managing Holiday Gas Stations to working the Abitibi Department at Chicago Lumber Company in Omaha (management positions). Frank was the last family member of the founder, Nelson Frank Lewis who founded Lewis Township Cemetery. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his former wife, Sandra Erickson Kogl Lewis; half-sister, Margaret Phillips; aunts and uncles. Frank is survived by his daughters, Christine Williams and husband Clint of Creston, Iowa, Kelly Klink of Spirit Lake, Iowa; grandchildren, Lexi and Mason Slick both of Creston; step-daughter, Kem Howze and husband Phil of Carbondale, Illinois; step-son, Kenny Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri; family friend, Becca Slick; life partner, Peg (Hueser) Lewis both of Creston, Iowa; cousins and other special family and many friends. .
