Philip Francis Snow, Sr. passed away March 8, 2018. He was born on June 4, 1924 in Palmyra, New Jersey. Upon graduation from high school he was called to service. Phil was assigned to the 17th Airborne Division 193 Glider Infantry Regiment where he served through VE Day. He saw action in the Battle of the Bulge Operation victory and the follow up advance into Germany for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. After VE Day he was transferred to the 82nd Airborne Division as part of the occupation force. After returning from the war, he attended Illinois College and graduated in 1949. Phil was hardworking, honest, direct and dedicate. He was a man of strong convictions regarding life, his country and his God. Over the years he successfully worked his way up the corporate ladder. Ultimately, at the time of retirement, having served as president, chief operating officer and director of several companies.
Phil was predeceased by his first wife of 36 years, Mary Corinne Maloney, and his daughter Mary Diane. Phil was blessed by 30 years of marriage to his wife Joan Patricia Benson. He is survived by Joan, his 3 children, Philip Snow Jr., his wife June Snow, Reginald Snow, Colette Saucedo and her husband Samuel Saucedo, Joan's 4 children, Judy MacAllister, her husband Jim MacAllister, Jill Bach, her husband Gregory Bach, Ann Benson and Jayne Parsons, and 13 grandchildren, Corinne Snow, Drew Snow, Maureen Snow, Colette Lingenfelter, Diane Snow, Christine Snow, Hannah Saucedo, Madelene Saucedo, Samuel Saucedo, Jim MacAllister, Jr. and Michael MacAllister, Matthew Bach, Katelyn Bach, and 2 great grandchildren, Emily Mae Snow and Brady Lingenfelter.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Allnutt Funeral Service - Drake Road Chapel, Fort Collins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30am on Monday, March 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Collins.
Graveside with Military Honors will be held in Illinois.
