Jacques J. (Jack) Campo, son of Sebastian and Vivian Campo, passed away on. March 9, 2018.
He is the husband of Mary Cook Campo. Father to Rosie Campo Walters (Aaron), Mickey Campo(Cindy), Harry Campo (Jenay), Rebecca Campo Holmes (Mark) and Melinda Campo Ward (Alan) all of Laurel Ms. Grandfather to Stephine Dennis Goldmon (James), Brad Dennis (Courtney), Nicholas Campo (Alecia), Alex Campo, Ina Campo Knotts (Greg), Harry (Bubba) Campo, Erica Holmes Craft, Jacob Ward (Aurdiana), Jessica Ward Rushing (Ryan), Madison Raybourn Yates (Josh), Braxton Raybourn (Jessica), Dewayne Walters ( Ronda), Brett Walters (Angela), and Kaylyn Walters. He is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was born on Delacroix Island, La on Nov 4 1936, and was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Freddie Campo, Clayton Campo, and Emanuel (Buddy) Campo, sisters Hilda Campo Guerra, Beverly Campo Welborn, and Shirley Campo; and a son-in-law Steve B. Dennis.
He retired from E.B.I as a captain and life-long fisherman and avid hunter.
Services will be held at Bethlehem Community Church on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery. Rev. Jamie Altman and Rev. Scott Stringer will officiate.
