Brandon S. Davis
May 2, 1986 - March 8, 2018

Brandon Scott Davis passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the age of 31. He died suddenly from natural causes Thursday afternoon.
Davis, lately of Laurel, MS, is survived by his wife Brooke Cole Davis, and young son Kingston Rhodes Davis. He also leaves behind an extended family whose members consist of his mother and stepfather, Sonya and Stogey Dykes; his father, Mark Davis; a sister, Emily Davis; and a brother, Ethan Davis. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ruth and Lester Busby, and a paternal grandfather Max Davis.
A native of Jones County, Davis graduated West Jones High School in 2005, where he distinguished himself as an athlete, friend, and leader. He then went on to travel to pursue school, music, and ministry. In 2010 he married his wife, Brooke, and six years later the two welcomed a son.
Davis was a partner/owner of BlackHorn Production Co., and served his God and community with a zealous and fearless attitude. He joined with Laurel Main Street in 2015 and strove to leave an impact on the people and businesses of Laurel that he loved. He attended Venture Church where he and his wife served on the worship team. Living by the words, "good enough is never good enough," Davis is best remembered for his passion for family, tenacity, and confidence in the face of adversity.
Services will be held at ten o'clock on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Venture Church's Hunt Club Campus in Hattiesburg, MS. Burial will be at Lake Park Hills cemetery in Laurel at 2:pm and serving as pallbearers will be Blake Sherman, Britt Barefoot, Patrick Little, Jay Gandy, Kyle Warren, Justin Holifield, Randy Sherrell, and Chad Evans.
