Betty M. Davis
January 6, 1933 - March 9, 2018

Betty M. (Labe) Davis 85 of Womelsdorf died Friday afternoon in her residence. Betty had resided in Temple for thirty years prior to recently moving to Womelsdorf.

Mrs. Davis was the wife of Wilbur W. "Bud" Davis. They shared a loving marriage of sixty-seven years.

Betty was born in Reading. She was the daughter of the late J. Walter and H. Marie (Yeager) Lewis Labe.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Kathy L. wife of Donald "Max" R. Hess of Reading; and two sons, Michael L. Davis husband of Gail Kopicz of Maidencreek Township, Brent S. husband of Terri Davis, Center Township.

Seven grandchildren; Melissa (Hess) wife of Christopher Wolfe, Kira (Davis) wife Daniel Schwalenberg, Alicia (Davis) wife of Pedro Morales, Shelby (Davis) wife of Brett Nicolas, Kyrsten (Davis) wife of Daniel Deeds, Derek husband of Sarah James, and Lisa (Kopicz) wife of Ryan Hunter.

Sixteen great grandchildren

A sister, Janet R. (Labe) Youndt of Center Township

Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Reading High School in the class of 1950.

Betty was an assistant Manager of the former Montgomery Ward in the Muhlenberg Shopping Center for five years. She enjoyed travel, crossword puzzles, Word searches, and Sudoku. She loved being a homemaker and raising her children.

Memorial services from Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Fran Moise Officiating.

Family will receive friends Saturday Noon until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be offered in Betty's name to American Cancer Society Berks County Unit, 3893 Adler Place, Ste 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017

"Aunt "Cork" was a beautiful person inside and out with a matching just as beautiful smile! She had an infectious laugh, no matter what your mood, you would hear her laugh and you had to join in on the laughing! She will always be loved and greatly missed!"
