Elmyria Louise "Yaya" Langley, 83, of Laurel, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Langley loved gardening and cooking.
Services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and the funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Dr. Carey Kimbrell will officiate.
Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by her husband Julius "Doug" Langley, father Calvin "Bud" Reeves, mother Maudie Jones Reeves, step-mother Ada Reeves, uncles W. E. Jones and B. F. Jones, aunt Sadie Jones, brother R. J. Reeves (Lucille), sister Billie Reeves Newcomb (Bob), and niece Kathy Reeves.
Survivors include her aunt Betty Jones, nephews Troy Jones (Liz) and James Reeves (Teresa), nieces Debra Jones and Donna Stringer (Benny), great nephews Chad Stringer (April) and Zachary Reeves, great nieces Sonya Cranford (Bob), Brandy Hearn, and Stephanie Stringer, and a host of great great nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Bush, Jimmy Cook, Jr., Peyton Bufkin, Dalton Hancock, Clayton Smith, and T. J. Brady. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Jones and Jimmy Rayner.
