Kenn Eugene Williams, 74, of Carmel, passed away March 11, 2018. He was born to the late Howard A. and Ava Mae (Westmoreland) Williams on February 27, 1944.

He lived his life as a "full opportunity gypsy." He was most remembered in Indianapolis for The Phoenix Salon inside the Fashion Mall, "where style was reborn." He built, owned, and managed it for the first seven years of its existence.

He was preceded in death by his significant half, Count Albert (C.A.) Newsom.

Kimbrough Johnson and John Montano wrote on Mar 14, 2018:

"I have known Kenn for many, many years (maybe 40 years). He was always kind with many stories to tell. I know it was so difficult for Kenn when C.A. passed. I lost a partner in a similar way in 2002. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to recover when you, yourself are unwell. Kenn had many friends and we all will miss him. Thank you to all who have helped Kenn and special thanks to Brad Polo. John and I will see many of you this Friday at the gathering at Leppert."
