Elizabeth Ann Belt, age 74, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at Bethany Lutheran Home. Elizabeth was born February 17,1944, in Council Bluffs to the late Charles and Winifred Cherniss and formerly worked at Bingo King. Survivors include her children, Richard (Wendy) Belt of Council Bluffs, Floyd (Cindy) Belt of Omaha, Winnie (Kyle) Belt of Council Bluffs; three grandchildren, Tony (Kayla) Belt of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Susan Belt of Council Bluffs, Jennifer (Jake) Seymour of Omaha; four great-grandchildren, Arianna Banks, Brody Seymour, Eli and Clay Belt; siblings, Sandy Pleake of Omaha, Jack (Patty) Cherniss of Des Moines, Iowa, Bunny Jared of Red Oak, Iowa, and Jeff (Donetta) Cherniss of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews. Private family visitation will be held, followed by cremation.
