Linda Burke 62, of Ames passed away Thursday, March 15 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 22, at 10: 30 am at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Ames. A burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Des Moines. Linda Rosemary Burke was born June 21, 1955 to Patrick and Rosemary (Barnhart) Burke in Ottumwa, Iowa. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1973. After high school Linda moved to Des Moines for a few years before moving to Ames where she resided for 40 years. Linda worked for Bourns for 20 years. She enjoyed painting and photography. Linda is survived by her sister, Patty Burke of Ames. She was preceded in death by her parents.
