Vickie Anne Buehrer, age 71 of Colfax, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. Private family funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The daughter of Floyd and Kay (Tuffield) Hardie, Vickie was born on August 25, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa. On October 15, 1965, she was united in marriage to David Leo Buehrer at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Melissa (David) Daft, Chuck (Sue) Buehrer, Molly (Dean) Timmons, Mike (Tara Monner) Buehrer, and Joe Buehrer; six grandchildren, Lydia Daft, Mary Daft, Kurt Timmons, Keith Timmons, Kyle Timmons (Deceased), Katelyn Buehrer and Jake Buehrer; sister, Carol Finney and a brother, Tom Hardie. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 49 years, David; a grandson, Kyle and her sister, Eileen Van Rees.
