Katharine Ann (McClure) McCord, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away March 30, 2018. She was born in Indianapolis to the late H.R. and Mary Jane (Carr) McClure. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. (Pat) McCord; brother, John F. McClure; sister, Mary M. Brown. Survivors include her son, Paul F. (Linda) McCord; daughter, Margaret (Peg) McCord Reifers; three grandchildren, Scott McCord, Jenni (Brian) Robinson, and Tom (Lisa) McCord; three great grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, and Graham.
Katharine was a graduate of Shortridge High School, Class of 1944. She was a graduate of Indiana University and member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She was also a member of the Christamore Aid Society and Alpha Theta Latrian. Katharine and her close family were known to gather every Wednesday evening.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 1-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 9075 N. Meridian St., # 150, Indianapolis, IN 46260.

"JB knew Pat McCord from early days together with Bob Baxter, Marsh Blackburn and Otto "Fritz" Myer. I met Pat when I needed help rebuilding our screened in porch from dog damage. We then met Katie and enjoyed both of them so very much. Our two boys learned to shoot their first BB gun at the McCord's...sitting at the picnic table side by side and listening to instruction on safety from Pat. They were both kind, gracious and loving people. "
