Lore Van Wormer, age 78, of Whiting, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Arista Care of Whiting.
Born in Nuremberg, Germany, Lore relocated to the United States in 1960 after marrying Henry Van Wormer. She was a homemaker and she had a passion for gardening and tending to her plants.
Surviving is her loving husband Henry Van Wormer; children Mark Van Wormer and Lisa Betchey and her husband Mark; grandchildren Cameron and Alex Betchey and Mia Petrous Van Wormer.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM with a service beginning at 3:30PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation was private.
