Terry Jay Minor
November 23, 1966 - April 3, 2018

Terry passed away on Tuesday evening, April 3, 2018 at his home in Shenandoah.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held on Monday morning, April 9th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. The family requests casual attire to be worn for the services.

Terry Jay Minor was born on November 23, 1966 in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Mitchell and Cindy (Gay) Minor. Terry entered into eternal rest on April 3, 2018 at his home in Shenandoah.

Terry's early years were spent in Southwest Iowa. He attended Shenandoah Community School with his fellow classmates of the Class of 1984. He later went on to attend Southwest Iowa Community College in Creston , where he obtained his Associates Degree in Architectural Design in 1996.

He passionately enjoyed his job as a craftsman at Pella Corporation where he had worked for the past 10 plus years. Terry was a die hard Oklahoma Sooners and Minnesota Vikings Fan. He also enjoyed perusing garage sales and antique shows, putting together various model kits, playing cribbage every evening with his mother, spending time with his great-nieces and nephews, fishing with his daughter and granddaughter as well as trips to Beaver Lake in Arkansas to fish. He also had a gift of making people laugh. His faith in his loving and forgiving Savior Jesus Christ was very important to him.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Mitchell Minor, infant brother Mitchell Minor, Jr and grandparents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Jessica Minor of Shenandoah, Josie Minor of Lincoln, NE and Keagan King of Council Bluffs, IA; granddaughter Jayda Minor of Shenandoah; mother Cindy Brooks of Shenandoah; sister Dawn Neumann (Duke) of Shenandoah; step-mother Kathy Minor of Portland, OR; nephews Caleb Jordan (Kami) of Burnsville, MN, Josh Jordan of Shenandoah and Jake Jordan (Amber) of Shenandoah; several great-nieces and nephews other relatives and an abundance of friends.
