"Tim was a Deacon at our Church and he often arrived early for services so he could greet people as they arrived. It didn't matter if he knew you or not, or whether you were a member or a visitor - he made the effort to make you feel very welcome. Larry Hanlon"

Mike Halstead wrote on Apr 11, 2018:

"Tim was a true Kiwanian and friend. He was always enthusiastic about giving the invocation, leading the club in a patriotic song and pledge of allegiance. Tim always had a big hand shake for guests and anyone he met. He served every year as an usher for our major events - the Indiana Final Four Basketball Luncheon, Abe Lincoln Scholarships, Fostering Families, and many others. Tim was always ready to pitch in on service projects and help others less fortunate. He will be missed. God Speed Tim! Mike Halstead "

"I will miss that phone call from Tim wishing me and fellow Downtown Kiwanians Happy Birthday on our special day. Tim always had the courage of his convictions and spoke up for what he believed in. He and his family helped to build the downtown Kiwanis Club and his absence will be felt. Go with God Tim. Karen Burns"

"I was blessed to know Tim as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis. Tim was a very dedicated member of the Club and served on a number of committees. Tim was best known for his deep commitment to Jesus. He served others as way to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Most recently, he served on the Abe Lincoln Awards Committee where in February the Kiwanis Club gave out over $40,000 of scholarships to high school students who had overcome significant adversity and were on their way to college. Tim had great passion for these young people. I have missed seeing Tim at our meetings and will have fond memories of this generous man. Greg Fennig"
