Michael Francis Quigley
January 29, 1934 - April 4, 2018

Michael "Mike" Francis Quigley,
84, of Indianapolis, departed this life on Wednesday April 4, 2018. Mike was born January 29, 1934 to the late Joseph and Catherine Quigley.

Mike attended Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology from the age of 13 to 21 and continued his education there becoming one of two students in his class chosen to attend the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Before being sent to Rome for further study, Mike made the hard decision to leave the seminary to continue his education at Indiana University, gaining an MBA. He went to work at IBM for many years, earning the Golden Circle Award in 1977.

Mike lived life to the fullest whether on the golf course, traveling the world, or watching Notre Dame, Indiana, or Butler play. He was an avid reader and loved to strike up conversations with all who crossed his path. His compassion and love for his children and grandchildren were constant and his heart was fullest when he was with family.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Sue Quigley; children, Patrick Quigley, Jill (Kevin) Voorhis, Michael (Amy) Quigley, Matthew (Sheryl) Quigley, Christine (Ty) Neal, Megan (Rob) Rhamy; nineteen grandchildren and two siblings, Jerry and Kitty Quigley (Holmes).

Preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ellen and brothers, Joe and Daniel Quigley.

A Memorial Mass for Mike will be held on Monday, April 9th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana beginning with the visitation from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., followed directly by the eulogy and Mass. There will be a luncheon immediately after in the Social Hall.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis, IN or to Saint Meinrad Seminary and the School of Theology in Jasper, Indiana.
