Pedro Rodriguez, 68, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in South Sioux City.
Pedro was born on February 23, 1950 in Edinburg, Texas, the son of Domingo and Victoria (Vasquez) Rodriguez. He attended school in Edinburg and worked at Lester Donnelly in Florida. Pedro married Maria Orosco in 1973 in Florida. They were blessed with 4 children. They moved to South Sioux City in 2007 to be close to his Mom.
Pedro enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to tell jokes to make them laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Rodriguez; 4 children, Rebecca (Henry) Carranza, Pedro Rodriguez, Jr., Sandy Rodriguez, and Susie (Luis) Chavez; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; and 4 brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Victoria Rodriguez; and 1 brother.
