"Ken will be missed! We met when he was very active in the Downtown Kiwanis Club and he developed a mobile display that highlighted our youth programs all over the state and at an international convention. I was still flying in a Navy patrol squadron out of Detroit and he forgave me for being a Naval Flight Officer! Kenneth H Hamilton passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the age of 95. He was born in Tipton, Indiana, October 5, 1922.
Kenneth was a World War II veteran. He was an aviator in the Army Air Corp, stationed in the Pacific Theater, retiring as a Major after serving twenty-two years in the Air Force Reserves.
Kenneth joined his brother at Hamilton Displays in 1954 and was a principal officer until his retirement in 1991.
Ken is survived by his wife Barbara Hamilton, his daughter Cynthia Hamilton York and sons; Craig Hamilton, Chris Hamilton and Richard Kem Hamilton. He has 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 11:00-1:00PM with services at 1:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary, 740 E 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Burial will be private.
