Velma Louise Giles Kendrick, 81 of Indianapolis, IN died on April 4, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born September 16, 1936 in Christian County, Kentucky and came to Indiana at age 16. She was a dedicated wife to James Kendrick for 55 years until his death in 2004. She also was preceded in death by daughters, Vickie and Annette. Velma Kendrick is survived by son Anthony, daughter Monique, and loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family, friends and the lives she touched are invited to her "Celebration of Life" service to be held at Eastern Star Church, 5750 30th St. at 11:00 am on April 12, 2018 with visitation at 9:30am.
