Robert Jogues Simonini
February 23, 1939 - April 9, 2018

DEFOREST, WI - Robert Jogues Simonini, age 79, of DeForest, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Artisan Senior Living. He was born on February 23, 1939 in Hinsdale, IL, the son of Louis and Esther Simonini. He married Jennet Arlene Knigge on October 29, 1966. He graduated from Harvard High School and Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor's of Science. Robert served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Natalie (Daniel) Anderson; his grandchildren, Kyle and Samantha Anderson; a sister, Judy DeMay; and a brother, William Simonini. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held Thursday, April 12th at 11 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 232 Windsor St, Sun Prairie, WI 53590, with Rev. Luke Werre presiding. Friends and family may call from 10 am until the time of service. Military Rites to be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
Bob was loved by many. Everyone who met him spoke of his love of life and ability to always make a friend. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.
