Pearl Larson Blair Kent, 96, passed away at the Iowa Veteran's Home in Marshalltown, IA, on Friday, April 13, 2018. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Anderson Funeral Homes. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Pearl was born February 27, 1922, to Orrie and Mary (Snider) Larson, in Popejoy, IA. She attended grade school in Owasa, IA. Pearl was united in marriage to Dale Blair, who preceded her in death in 1977, and then to Norman Kent, who preceded her in death in 2000. She spent most of her life caring for her family as a homemaker, as well as being employed by Marshalltown Manufacturing for 20 years before retirement. Pearl was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Marshalltown, U.A.W 893, and the Red Hat Ladies. She was very passionate and devoted to her faith and was a beautiful example of what it means to be a good Christian woman, which was evident by the person she was and the life she lived. In her free time, Pearl also enjoyed bowling, cooking for her family, ceramics, music, and singing.

Pearl is survived by her children, Maryalice Blair Larson of Marshalltown, Janet and Russell Mason of Albion, IA, Don Kent of Elk River, MN, Rodney and Linda Kent of Andover, MN, Denver and Carrie Kent of Robbinsdale, MN, Stephanie and Jim Wargin of Washburn, WI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orrie and Mary Larson; her first husband, Dale Blair; her second husband, Norman Kent; a daughter in infancy; and 12 brothers and sisters.

The family wishes to thank the Iowa Veteran's Home staff for their outstanding, loving care, and support to them and their mother.
