"Dear Cousins, Sending love and prayers for comfort in this time of grieving. I was so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. We were privileged to visit her in 2012 and again in 2013. I have so many fond memories of our growing up years in Knoxville, and grateful we could keep in touch on face book in our later years. She was strong and beautiful, and so cheerful and giving. She loved sharing news about all of you and your accomplishments. I have posted some old time photos on my page if you would like to see some of the great-grandparents, and wedding photos of your mom and dad. I was thrilled to have Nancy wear my wedding dress for her wedding, and to be a part of the service. Many happy memories to help with the sadness in her passing. I will make a donation to MS in her memory. Cousin Rosemary Miller"

"Andy and Chris, your mom was one of a kind. I can still see her in the stands supporting us and cheering us on. Even through her disease she kept such a positive attitude and was a role model for many. I visited her at Highland Ridge a couple years ago and as always she was positive and we enjoyed talking about the past and the memories we had. I have not seen you in many years Chris and Andy however I can tell you your mom was very proud of who you were what you became and the family's you had. Keeping you in my prayers that God keeps you in the palm of his hand through this tough tough time. Blessings always Melanie Heitman Nelson"

"Dear Chris, Andy and family... oh how I loved your dear mom! I have known her since 1968 where sometimes she and my parents were the only ones cheering the Comets on in the stands! And of course your dad has always, and will always carry a special place in my heart! Your mom was so sweet and gentle and always carried her lot in life with such dignity. I loved her heart and her spirit, as she loved her family, followed her grandkids and blessed others with her presence and friendship. I will miss her! YOU BOYS... from cops and robbers on the softball bus till now, I have always loved you from afar. Honor your mom's life with a humble love for others and I pray a sweet blessing on you and yours...
