MUSCATINE, Iowa - Doris M. Jenkinson, 87, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018, at the Lutheran Living.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at the Lutheran Living. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Living.
Doris was born on August 28, 1930, in Plainview, Nebraska, the daughter of Joe and Muriel Baird Foster. She married Dale Jenkinson on August 25, 1949.
She worked as a cook in the school system for many years and belonged to the Lutheran faith. Doris enjoyed golfing and being with friends and family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Dale; three children, Steve Jenkinson and wife, Diane, of Muscatine, Bill Jenkinson and wife, Carla, of Durant, and Joy Ball and husband Ivan, of Donnellson; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Ruth Petersen, of Lincoln, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
