Elena "Helen" Duncan, age 81, passed away on April 15, 2018, at her residence with her family. Helen was born in Texas on April 7, 1937, to Bartolo and Juana (Sosa) Tamayo. Helen worked for many years as a cook. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Edward Duncan, Sr.; son, Bobby L. Duncan; granddaughter, Jennifer White; sister, Antonia Ochoa; brothers, John, Fermin and Fortunato "Willie" Tamayo. Helen is survived by son, Lee Edward Duncan, Jr.; daughters, Linda (Larry) Fisher, Stella (Kyle) Shepard, Julie (Wegie) White, Linda Wagaman; daughter-in-law, Missy Duncan; companion, Marvin Siebert all of Council Bluffs; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Lupe (Don) Stevens of Council Bluffs, Jane Cardenas of Jasper, Alabama; nieces, nephews, and family friend, Jim Meade.
