Bill Conly
October 28, 1925 - April 14, 2018

FORT WORTH - Bill Conly, 92, passed away Saturday April 14, 2018, surrounded by his family and his loving companion.

Born in October 1925, in Daingerfield, Texas. He was the younger son of Ross Conly and Erma Grace Henderson Conly. During World War II he served in the Army air Corps as ball turret gunner on a B-17. Following the war he served the US Government working alongside his brother, John Ross Conly, as property administrator during the rebuilding of the Philippine Islands. After returning he attended North Texas State in Denton. His career as Manager of Procurement in the Material Department at General Dynamics spanned 42 years. He loved golf, fishing and family, and he was an avid Texas Longhorn football fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Bobbie Damron Conly and grandson, John Ross Conly.
Survivors: Two sons, Bill Conly II and partner, Deena Wortley and John Conly and wife, Dena; daughter, Kristal White and husband, Randy; his loving companion, Barbara Weinberg; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Leslie, Tara, Angie, Kevin, Clay, Brandi and Sara; and eight great-grandchildren.
