Joy Yvonne Conley
August 5, 1940 - April 23, 2018

Joy Yvonne Conley, age 77 of Ankeny formerly of Colfax, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will follow at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the church. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Roy and Gertrude (Pierce) Warrick, Joy was born on August 5, 1940. She graduated from Mingo High School in 1958. Joy was united in marriage to Joe Conley in 1973 in Marshalltown, Iowa. Joy was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Colfax Historical Society and the Colfax Kiwanis. Joy enjoyed baking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Joe; children, Stacy "Beth" Blom, Joel Wayne Conley and Joshua Day Conley; three grandchildren, Tyler James Conley, Madigan Jo Conley and Molly Marie Conley; three great grandchildren, Ashlin, Ava, and Conor and her brother, Keith (Mona) Warrick. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vonda Lee Williams.
