Mitchell Addison "Add" Davis, 83, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. Visitation will be held all day Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the funeral home with family present 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Robert Lee Baptist Church with interment to follow in Robert Lee Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
Add was born on December 6, 1934 in Robert Lee, Texas to Mike and Cleora (Smith) Davis. He married Barbara Casey Chesney on March 31, 1990.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Burl Davis.
He is survived by his children, Nadine and Mike Davis, Cindy and husband Paul Keefer and Pam and husband David Hoover; grandchildren, Angela Davis, Craig and wife Amber Davis, Jarrod and wife Hannah Hoover, Kacy Ward and Emily and husband Kevin Sanders; great grandchildren, Carth and Cailan Davis and Caleb and Ada Hoover.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to West Coke County EMS, P.O. Box 1212, Robert Lee, TX 76945.
