Florence L. Reed, 99, of Thermal, CA, formerly of Jackson, NE passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City.
No services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.
Florence was born on March 27, 1919 in Hubbard, NE, the daughter of James and Ruth (DeRoin) Love. She attended school in Jackson and married Wilber Reed.
Survivors include 1 grandson, Jeremiah; a brother, Ira Love of South Sioux City, NE; sisters, Irene Harris of Homer, NE, Dorothy McGinty of Dakota Dunes, SD and Bettie Cooper of South Sioux City, NE; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Love; her husband, Wilber Reed; a daughter, Colleen; brothers, Ray and James Love; a sister, Mabel Rockwell; sisters-in-law, Judy, Shirley and Bertha Love; and brothers-in-law, Mike McGinty, Kenneth Cooper, Malvin Harris and Harold Rockwell.
