December 1, 1930 - April 30, 2018

Betty Ann Sealine, 87, of Stanhope, passed away on April 30, 2018 at Bethany Life in Story City. Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at South Marion Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for the family.

Betty Ann Staebler was born December 1, 1930 at Williams, to parents Frank & Irmilda (Holdgrafer) Staebler. Betty graduated from Ogden High School with the class of 1949. On December 26, 1955 she married Orien Raymond Sealine at Stanhope. Betty retired from the Hamilton County Clerk of Court in 1996 as Supervisor/First Deputy after twenty plus years. In 1999 she and Orien toured Sweden, Finland and Denmark on a 15 day tour, enjoyed seeing the Cubs play in spring training and watching the Rose Bowl parade and game several times.

Betty will be deeply missed by her sons, Douglas D. (Ranae) of Jewell, Marshall 0. (Carol) of Marshalltown, Timothy J. (Patti) of Stanhope and daughter, Rose Ann Christenson of West Des Moines; l0 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Staebler of Oakton, VA, Veronica (Gene) Foltz of Surprise, AZ; brothers, Bud Staebler of Boone and Bill (Cini) Staebler of Odgen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orien on April 23, 2013; grandson, Jamie Sealine; siblings, Connie Staebler, Jeanette Wolf, Gretchen Schlieman, and John Staebler.

She loved seeing her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and cooking dinner for all. She enjoyed bowling, winning State class A all events one year, going to the casinos, bingo, sewing and gardening as her health permitted. She also served as secretary for the S.A.L.T. program for seniors for 13 years.
