Gregg Glenn Grosh
October 8, 1948 - May 2, 2018

Gregg Glenn Grosh, age 69, died of complications of ALS and Parkinson's Disease on May 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Ann Hooker Grosh of Indianapolis; his daughter Ellen Grosh of Indianapolis; his son Nathan Grosh and wife Lauren, of Denver, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Tegan and Emma Grosh, of Denver.

Gregg was born on October 8, 1948 in Michigan City, Indiana, to parents, Glenn and Ruth (Minke) Grosh. He had a brother, William Collins, who also preceded him in death. He graduated from Ball State University in 1975 with a degree in music. Gregg worked in computer programming and analysis for over 30 years and ended his career at the Department of Finance and Accounting Systems for the U.S. Government.

He married Ann in 1972.

Gregg's love of music lasted for his whole life. He played clarinet in the Indianapolis Symphonic Band for 45 years, plus a variety of smaller ensembles. He was also devoted to the practice of yoga at Inner Peace Yoga Center. In addition Gregg was active at Rock Steady Boxing, which gave him a social outlet while fighting against Parkinson's Disease with exercise.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Leppert Mortuary Nora Chapel. Calling will be from noon to 2 p.m., with a celebration of life at 2 p.m.
