BENBROOK - Gustav "Gus" Paul Geschke, 89, of Benbrook, Texas passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. He is survived by his wife Jean of 63 years, daughters and Deborah (Craig) Verwers and Laurel (William) Guess , six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Gus was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Gus was born in Milwaukee, Wis., but moved to Texas to work in aircraft design for Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. After retirement, he and Jean traveled the country camping and visiting sites along the way. He had a special appreciation for wild places and the national parks.

A private memorial service will be in Cleburne on Monday, May 7, 2018. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and the National Park Foundation.
