Gregory P. Chadwick, age 66, of the Whiting section of Manchester Township, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Born in Point Pleasant, Gregory was raised in Brick. A graduate of Brick High School, he then attended Ocean County College. After raising their family in Toms River for 32 years, he and his wife moved to Whiting 8 years ago. He worked for Mayfair Foodtown and Stop & Shop stores in Toms River, Jackson and Point Pleasant until his retirement in 2006.
Greg earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was an Assistant Webelos Scout leader. He volunteered at the United Methodist Church of Toms River. He enjoyed league bowling, and was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Orioles and his sons' youth sports teams.
He was predeceased by his parents (Leonard) Phillip and Ruth Chadwick. Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years Linda Stapleton Chadwick; sons Christopher Chadwick and his wife Shelly and Sean Chadwick, his wife Beth and grandson Max; his sister Susan Malinowski and her husband Dennis and brother Timothy Chadwick and his wife Karen.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
