Patrick J Donohoe
February 15, 1964 - May 6, 2018

Parnell-Patrick Joseph Donohoe was born February 15, 1964 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Gerald T. And Kathleen Ann (Ferrie) Donohoe. He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1982. Pat was united in marriage to Lynette Ellen Glandorf on August 17, 1991 at St. Michael Church in Holbrook. Pat farmed and raised cattle east of Parnell and was the owner and operator of Donohoe Drywall. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, coaching them in baseball for several years and attending all their sporting and livestock events. Pat was active in the Iowa County Fair, 4-H as well as showing cattle. He also enjoyed being outside, hunting, mushroom hunting and spending time with family and friends.
Pat died Sunday, May 6, 2018 in an auto accident east of Parnell at the age of 54 years.

He is survived by three sons: Jarett, Jacob and Justin Donohoe all of Parnell; a brother: Bill Donohoe of Holbrook; five sisters: Peg (Dwight) Gildemeister of Williamsburg, Jerlynn (Pat) O'Brien of Parnell, Mary Donohoe of Holbrook, Carolyn (Dale) Martens of Conroy and Deb (Paul) Thompson of Conrad. Also surviving is his mother-in-law: June Glandorf of Williamsburg; two brothers-in-law: Steve (Liisa) Glandorf of Georgetown, TX and Todd (Teresa) Glandorf of Round Rock, TX; a sister-in-law: Kimberly (Mike) Jackson of Grandview, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lynette in 2011, a brother Thomas Donohoe and father-in-law Derald Glandorf.


Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Holbrook. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg where there will be a prayer service at 1:30 pm. The family request in lieu of flowers Memorials may be given for the Patrick Donohoe family memorial for his sons or St. Michael's Cemetery.
