It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Margie at Columbia Lutheran Home. Born March 12, 1927 in Binscarth, Manitoba, she passed away shortly after her 91st birthday on May 6, 2018 in Seattle, Washington. Margie was a long-time resident of Seattle and spent many years volunteering at the local Food Bank. She was a strong independent lady and she will be missed by her family, close friends and neighbors. Margie was predeceased by her son Brian, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her brother Buddy and her nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Evergreen Washelli in Seattle at 2:00 PM. Margie's ashes will be placed with her son Brian.
