Richard M. Creeger
June 2, 1945 - May 4, 2018

Richard "Dick" M. Creeger, age 72, a resident of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. Dick was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Earl and Frances Creeger. Dick was a 1963 graduate of William Penn High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He served in the United State Air Force and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from the United States House of Representatives where he spent 20 years as the Clerk of the House in charge of the Congressional Record. Dick was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying. He also loved sailing the Chesapeake in his boat. Dick was also a proud member of AA for many years and helped numerous people.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Frances Creeger, brothers Earl "Skip" and Jerry, sister Patricia and son Brinton. He is survived by his loving wife Debra Creeger, son Richard (Fran) Creeger, Jr., daughters Christine (John) Farling, Lisa Creeger and Michelle Creeger, sister Elizabeth "Betsy" (William) Squires, brother Charles "Sonny" Creeger, grandchildren Richard Creeger, III, Benjamin Creeger, Raymond Duke, Jennifer (Luigi) Lombardo, Jacob Mesa, Kate Farling, Jessica Farling, Brett (Shannon) Davis, Samantha Davis, Dylan Davis, Michael Gaver and James Gaver, and great-grandchildren Randy Duke, Jordan Duke, Rocco Lombardo, Serafina Lombardo and Griffin Davis. He will be deeply missed by all.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, 4:00 p.m. at Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Following the service, all are welcome at his daughter Christine's home to further celebrate his life!
