Betty Marie Bauer
May 20, 1925 - May 9, 2018
The Lord called Betty home "Where the Roses Never Fade" on May 9, 2018 she was 92. Betty was born in Borden, Indiana, Clark County, to John H. Corn and Della L. (Baggerly) Corn. She was saved and baptized when she was a young girl. In her lengthy prayers, she would pray for good health and safe being for everyone she met. Betty loved oil painting, crocheting, working puzzles, and playing cards. She also loved working in her yard and sitting on her front porch. She loved flowers such as red geraniums and roses. She was a wonderful loving and dedicated homemaker, and just a great mom and mam-maw. She enjoyed family get-togethers, and showering's. Her love and her pride for her family was everything. Betty never met a stranger.
She was a sibling of four brothers: Melvin, John, Ronnie, Charles as well as four sisters: Clarice, Wynema, Opal, Lerue whom all precede her in death. Betty was married 54 years to her loving husband Harold Bauer, who also precedes her in death.
Betty is survived by her daughter Carol D. Schuyler (Steven) Bauer; Son Michael H. Bauer and companion Cathy Eckard; three grandchildren Angela S. Cast, Kylee R. (Ryan) Bond, Lori L. Schuyler and companion Larry Weaver; four great grandchildren Ryan Cast, Madelyn Cast, Brooks Bond, Hallie Bond.
Visitation for Betty will be from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 12th at Leppert Mortuary - Smith Carmel Chapel.
