Norma J. Brayton, 89, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Norma is survived by her husband, Wesley; children, Sara Brayton (Laura Henry) of Omaha; Scott Brayton of Badger; grandchildren, Shawna (Brad) Schmidt of Kamrar; Justin (Paige) Brayton of Charlotte, NC; Amy Brayton (Mike Peterson) of Otho; Dru Brayton of Linsey, OK; great-grandchildren, Alesha Arnold; Grace Arnold; Nolan Arnold; Evelyn Peterson; Parker Brayton and Beckham Brayton; and sister, Doris Bennett of Perry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Eleanora (Toben) Schoon; brothers, Glen and Dean Schoon.
Norma June Schoon was born August 24, 1928 in Palmer. She was united in marriage to Wesley Brayton on April 26, 1953 in Palmer. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Norma worked as a bookkeeper and had childcare in her home for several years.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
