Charles E. Caron, Jr.
October 4, 1938 - May 10, 2018
Charles E. Caron, Jr. passed away on Thursday, May 10th, at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Brown Caron of Englewood, FL, his son Charles Caron and daughter-in-law Taimi Caron of Westminster, MA, his daughter Elizabeth Chinnaswamy of Boston, MA., his sister Eleanor Pepin of Yarmouth, MA, his four grandchildren; Sara Leonard of Boston, MA, Jay Chinnaswamy of Boston MA, Kristen Caron of Chicago, IL and Douglas Caron of Westminster, MA and his great grandson Declan Caron of Westminster, MA. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Kumar Chinnaswamy.
Charles, son of Ethel Merkle Caron and Charles Caron, Sr., was born in Worcester, MA on October 4th, 1938 and remained a resident of the city for 36 years. He graduated from Classical High School, received his Bachelors and Masters degree from Worcester State College, and obtained a Masters degree from WPI. Charles taught science Worcester at Forest Grove Junior High School and Burncoat High School. He moved to Westminster, MA in 1973 where he resided with his family for 32 years before retiring to Englewood, FL.
Charles enjoyed sailing, gardening, snowmobiling, wood carving, camping and fishing. He was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity, Westminster Lions Club, and R/C Fliers of Venice, Florida. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
