Bobby was born in San Angelo and lived here his whole life. Bobby was a heavy equipment operator and loved being outside working, fishing, or playing with his kids. Bobby met the love of his life, Lepha, in 1980 and along with a little blonde haired blue-eyed girl, Dayna, became a husband and a father in 1981. In 1982 Amanda was born and his family was complete. Bobby's family was the absolute most important thing to him. He was the baby of 9 kids and the peacemaker among all.
He always saw the good in everyone and accepted them no matter what. He knew about anything and everything you asked, even the weather and more often than not he had a story to tell from personal experience with every question. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and looked forward to the start of the season every year.
He was preceded by his grandfather, Braulio Hernandez, his namesake; and grandmother, Rafaela Hernandez; his parents, Pablo and Ysidra Rodriquez; older brothers, Elias and Robert Rodriquez; sister, Beatrice Escobedo Rodriquez; sisters-in-law, Linda Rodriquez and Rhonda Parker; and brothers-in-law, Reuben Montez, Carlos Rios, and James Keefer.
Bobby is survived by his wife and best friend, Lepha Rodriquez; his daughters, Amanda and Dayna; his "adopted" daughter, Jamie; son-in-law, John; and 6 grandchildren, Savannah, Parker, Carson, Angel, Mallory, and Logan who he loved with all of his heart; his long time best friend, Phillip Hinojos; his sisters, Lucy Montez, Yolanda and Mondo Martinez, and Estella and Robert Diaz; his brothers, Jr and Oralia Rodriquez, Joe and Anna Rodriquez, and Elias Rodriquez; his sisters-in-law, Mali Rios and Anita Rodriquez. His 32 nieces and nephews and Marcella who he helped raise like one of his own, thank you for all you did for him, and his multiple great nieces and nephews who he loved to sit and visit and share all his stories with.
Special Thanks to the entire 4South floor at Shannon Medical Center with huge thanks to Kevin, Michael, Christy, Juli, Delfina, and Meredith you all left such a special mark on his big heart and he loved you all. The family would also like to thank the entire HOSA team Candy, Becky, Ahmad, Christina, and his wonderful nurse Cindy.
