"The Carroll family extends its condolences to Janet, Colleen & Suzanne on the passing of the family patriarch. He was a great man and he now joins, Donald, his brother Ed and Ronan in eternal life. We will always hold in our memories his rendition of the "Wild Colonial Boy" when ever the opportunity called for it, whether at Sullivan's or another gathering place. He now can get work again as US Marine and to quote from the Marine Hymn with a slight change to the lyrics: "...If the Army and the Navy Ever look on Heaven's scenes, They will find the streets are guarded By a new United States Marine.".
