Louise E. Hagge Daniel, 83, of Fort Dodge passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Friendship Haven surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Celebration Center, Friendship Haven. Burial will follow in Paton Township Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Jodie (Jeff) Burke of Barnum and Melanie (Randy) Thoma of Barnum; grandchildren, Jason (Ronda Larson) Burke, Jill (Dave) Dunn, Jenilee Burke, Matt (Heather) Thoma, and Sara (Zach Andrews) Thoma; great-grandchildren, Emma, Claire, Grace, and Hailey; sister, Lois Pingel of Fort Dodge; and her brothers, Bob (Peggy Koster) Hagge of Fond du Lac, WI; and Jerry (Dora) Hagge of Hastings, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Eliza (Taylor) Hagge.
Louise Elaine Hagge was born March 15, 1935 in Paton. She attended schools there and graduated from Paton High School. She then attended Tobin Business College. After her education, Louise worked at Hormel's as a bookkeeper and then at B & F Sales as a bookkeeper for many years until her retirement. She was a Foster Grandparent for 8 years at Feelhaver School. Louise enjoyed reading Zane Gray western books and watching western movies. She also found enjoyment in watching birds and tending to her flowers. Louise loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.
